Sometimes I make a painting and when
it's complete I reflect upon its deeper
significance to me. That's what
happened with this piece. This painting
speaks to me about the busyness of our
lives and the stress that we sometimes
feel trying to accomplish the myriad tasks
and responsibilities of the day. At times,
like many others, I can feel confused,
and swept away by the circumstances I
am in. If, however, I take the time to sit
and listen to God, peace enters my heart
as I let go and submit to the gentle wind
of the Holy Spirit.
