This painting is part of a series called "Bouquet of
One" in which I seek to unite the beauty that I find
in nature with the spirit of God speaking to my
heart. The field of flowers is symbolic of all
humanity. The single flower represents each of us,
illuminated in God’s warm embrace, as chosen and
beautiful to Him.
In beginning this series of paintings, I prayed that
God would give me words to convey His message.
What I heard was: “You are my chosen one. I love
you just as you are. You are beautiful to me.”
My prayer is that those who see these works will
hear God’s soft voice speaking these words to
them.
