Featured Artist, April 2008
At the time of this posting, Spencer
is 8 years old and has studied art
with me for about a year.

I am very proud of the progress that
she has made and wish her much
success as she continues to bless
others with her creativity.


How long have you been an artist?
"Four years, I think."

What do you like most about being
an artist? "Drawing pictures. Being
an artist helps me at school. I have
the right brushes to do special
things."

What media do you enjoy working
in the most? "Colored pencils and
paint because I like shading."

Do you have a favorite work of art
that you've done? "I like the horse
that I did the best. It's my Mom's
horse. I gave the painting to my
Mom as a present. It took me three
days. "

What do you like about our class?
"I love the Art Mart Box! Everything in
it is so interesting!"
