Emma was about 3 years old when
she attended one of my summer art
and culture camps, and we've been
growing together as artists ever
since! She and I share a lot in
common, including a love for
watercolor and a desire to see
other people smile when they look
at our art. She's now 7, and over the
course of the past three years we
have experienced a lot of creative
and imaginary travel adventures
together. It is such an honor to be
her teacher and to share her
beautiful work with you this month.
Do you have a favorite medium?
"I like watercolor and marker."
Do you have a favorite work that
you've done? "The Beautiful Fish."

Do you have any goals as an
artist? "To be famous. To have the
world know about me. That they like
me."
What do you like about our
Budding Artists class? "I like Art
Share time because I get to see the
art that the other students are
doing. I like seeing how people do
the same thing differently. And I like
to get stuff from the Art Mart Box!"
